Who are you?

Over ten years work experience for China’s high-end women apparel. I have cooperate with many famous design teams around the world, including Maison Martin Margiela. In 2014, I quit the job and became an independent designer. In 2015, I finally set up my own brand YOEYYOU.

Why do you want to create your own brand?

Original design changing the future, and I want to design the clothes in my dream without any limitation.

Can you describe your brand?

YOEYYOU is a brand which tries to show the smoother lines of body, and its clothes are a way to exaggerate this feature.

What do you find most challenging about your career at the moment?

It’s hard to find the balance point between creative designs and business value. You know, a great design which people excited about it.

I graduated from design school, and have many years’work experience in China’s fashion house as a design director, in charge of the womenswear design. Describe your brand: Beata (比那) After many year’s work, I finally launched my own brand, focusing on the mid-to-high-end womenswear market. And basically for office ladies between the age from 28 to 40 ladies. What is the origin of the brand’s name? It’s from a Latin female’s name, which is endowed with the meaning of “blessed”, “happy”. What made you want to create this brand? To everyone, it's best only when it fits you. I want to set up a brand which is not for following the fashion trends but for your own taste. [Designer to Know] Bi Yi and Her Brand QIBUL

Name, City, Brand? Bi Yi(毕翼), Beijing, QIBUL (柒布了) . Who are you? I’m a poet, I’m an artist and I’m a  designer. I graduated from The School of Arts Peking University. I like cheongsam, because my mother is a cheongsam tailor. When I was young, my mother taught me how to sew, to embroider, to design, that’s my childhood hobby, and I like it. When I grow to be 18 years old, I decided to learn painting, and that study experience has a great influence to my designers career. Later on, I work for the film companies, and design costume for the actors, and now I set up my own brand QIBUL. How much do you know about Shenzhen? let me show you a short bio from the Google: Shenzhen , in southeastern China, is a modern metropolis that links Hong Kong to China’s mainland.
